Now that the current tasks have been completed I can turn my attention back to enhancing the site and adding several new sections that have been suggested. While it is very possible to spend a large amount of money on this hobby it is also possible to get in without having to take out a second mortgage. One of the things I’m going to build is a getting started section to serve as a handy guide for those new to ham radio. Things like echolink and software defined radios offer ways to get on the air without breaking the bank.
