This Thursday at 7pm central time I will be guesting on the Bob Tuskin Show to discuss amateur radio. This will be a regular monthly spot. This show will be to introduce the public to the hobby and it’s many benefits. We will be taking calls. All you hams out there feel free to call in and share your amateur radio experiences.

The progress continues. The links section has been added, and I went through and posted the best of the links I could think of. There is a good bit of useful information contained there. I’m sure I’ve missed some good ones. If you have any that should be included that aren’t please drop a comment or an email and I’ll gladly add the links to the page. The section on Amateur Bands has been expanded also. There are still more details to add as time permits. There are a few more sections planned to go online in the next week, so keep checking back.

The content for the site is really coming together. I want to thank everyone who has contributed ideas for content. Keep the ideas coming.

The forum groups have been created and are ready for use. You will need to sign up to post. It’s free and always will be. It is not necessary to sign in to view any content. The site will always be clean and clear of advertising clutter. This is a non profit venture for the purposes of advancing the hobby.

I will be doing a monthly spot on the Bob Tuskin Radio Show discussing amateur radio on the first Thursday of every month. I’ll post more details on this soon. I will be doing a bit of promotion and publicity work on the site as all of this unfolds. Using the “if you build it they will come” paradigm it is my intent to make this into a popular information resource for the amateur radio experience.
